ABOUT THE COUPLE

Carlson and Yar Ting were introduced through the family. Yar Ting lived in London and I Carlson was in Seattle, so they started off doing video calls for five months until he flew out in July of 2017 to visit her. Carlson proposed in Seattle at the bottom of the waterfall after a light hike. Carlson said, “It’s funny because I have a silly and screw up type personality and I tried to measure her ring size while she was sleeping, but she kept waking up in the middle of the night because she easily wakes up.”

They indeed are the sweetest couple. So full of love for each other and their family and friends.

ABOUT ARLINGTON ESTATE

Arlington Estate is a wedding venue in Kleinburg, Ontario on a 7-acre property. There are a large pond and willow tree that you can look on during the outdoor ceremony.

There’s a helicopter pad, so if there are any bougie couples out there. I’d love to photograph that type of entrance.

I’ve shot at Arlington through spring, summer and fall. What I love most is there’s an undercover spot which has the most beautiful light. If you’re worried about rain on your wedding day with no outdoor photos, I would recommend Arlington for an outdoor wedding photography location back up.

ABOUT THE DECOR

The couple opted for a modern minimalist style. The Arlington Estate is a perfect backdrop for clean, modern lines. The colours they chose were a mix of blush, and dusty, greyish blue.
