Carolina and Brian’s Chic Burroughes Building Wedding was Featured on Event Source.
From Carolina:
Brian and I met in grade 3. We were in the same class. We bonded as we were constantly in detention for not finishing our homework. We have been best friends ever since. Brian proposed in August of 2014 at the Distillery District.
He placed a love lock that he got custom made on the love installation. He asked me to look at one lock in particular and it had both of our names and the CN tower on a red (my favourite colour) lock, he asked me to turn it around and it said “Will you Marry Me?” When I looked over at him, he was down on one knee holding the ring. It was one of the best nights of my life. He had arranged for our parents to be together when we got home since he knew my parents would be the very first people I wanted to share the news with.

The Burroughes Building is a wedding venue located on Queen Street in Toronto. It’s a sort-after wedding venue for industrial style photography. Therefore, many photographers love this venue for artsy elopements and engagement photos.
Weddings are held on the 6th floor. Because there are two rooms, you have a variety of looks. One with the iconic Burroughes sign on the brick wall. The other room has white walls and the bar. But most noteworthy is the Toronto skyline on the 7th floor. It’s perfect for Toronto sunset photos.
Catherine Langlois was the genius behind Carolina’s stunning wedding dress design. To this day, it remains one of my most favourite wedding dresses. Catherine was voted Top 10 Wedding Dress Designers in Toronto by BlogTo. Because I get to see designer dresses up close I get to see the care and attention that goes into it. Let me just say Catherine is nothing short of a true artist.
Osgoode Hall is a popular spot for wedding photos in Toronto. It’s one of the only locations that doesn’t require a photography permit.
