Hotel Ocho Wedding

This stunning Hotel Ocho wedding is one of my most favourites. If you haven’t cottoned on, industrial and loft style venues are my jam. Alix and Jullian’s big day was modern, minimalistic, lush and industrial.

I often have to pinch myself that I get to photograph the loveliest couples. Alix and Jullian are so perfect for each other and they had the most hilarious and fun bridal party.
We had a bit of rain that started just as their portrait session began but made the most of the undercover area at R.C Harris Water Plant.

Alix started the day started at The Broadview Hotel. If you’ve never been there I highly recommend staying a night or at least eating in one of their restaurants. The rooms are beautifully decorated with pink botanical wallpaper and rich claret-coloured velvet curtains. It definitely makes for unique getting ready photos.

Jullian got ready at their home – even their cat joined in on the fun.
From there they had their first look outside their home across the street.

R.C. Harris Water Treatment Plant was the next stop, and despite it’s unappealing name, it’s an incredible place for variety. It’s right on the water so you can have a view of Lake Ontario.

Hotel Ocho is an intimate venue, with an above view of the ceremony site from the upper level.

We took a quick 5 minute stroll out around Chinatown once the sun had set and made use of the street lights and neon signs.

I’m definitely in love with the neon sign and monstera plant decor. That glow…and I don’t mean the sign.

I hope you enjoyed this Modern Industrial Wedding at Hotel Ocho. For more loft style weddings click here.
